Speed Cushions to be Installed in Section 13

Some readers may well have noted the orange markings that appeared in the past week or so on some streets located west of Ella Blvd. in Timbergrove. These markings indicate the sites at which speed cushions are planned to be installed in the second/final phase of the area speed cushion project. The actual work to cut the concrete and prepare the location for installation of the speed cushion material itself has actually begun on Willowby and Haverhill Drives in Timbergrove Section 13 (2400 and 2500 blocks). The project is ahead of the projected schedule begin date, but a brief conversation with members of the work crew provides this overall project will take weeks to complete.
