Run the Grove 5K and Kids’ Fun Run

Saturday, April 14, 2018 West 11th Street Park

For the third year in a row, our neighbors in the Timbergrove Manor Neighborhood Association (TMNA) — the organization representing residents is Timbergrove Manor east of T.C. Jester Blvds — will host the Run the Grove 5K.

This year’s event will honor the life and legacy of Dr. Lorraine Cherry (1947-2017) whose dedication to the preservation of nature created West 11th Street Park, a 20-acre pocket wilderness in the heart of Timbergrove.

Support from you, the Timbergrove community, is truly the heart and soul of this event.See below for the various ways in which you can get involved!Additional information, as well as links to sponsor the event, register for the races, or sign up as a volunteer are available on the TMNA website at www.tmnaonline.org/run-the-grove

SPONSOR THE EVENT

Proceeds raised from this year’s event will continue to benefit Timbergrove Manor’s Adopt an Esplanade Program, as well as trail maintenance and improvement projects at West 11th Street Park. In addition, we plan to make a special contribution this year to support the effort to rename West 11th Street Park in honor of Dr. Cherry.
