March Meeting: Learn about Coyotes in Timbergrove
The speaker at the TMCC General meeting on March 10 will be Dianna Foss. Diana Foss is a wildlife biologist with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Before her 22 year tenure with TPWD, she was the Education Director for The Texas Zoo for 10 years, connecting people with wildlife through education and conservation. She has a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Science from Texas A&M University and has received awards for advancing wildlife and environmental education. When HPD sent the remains of two cats to A&M for analysis, Diana Foss and her colleagues at TPWD also examined the evidence presented and concluded that animal predation, not human activity, was responsible. Coyotes are here to stay so come to the meeting and learn how humans, their pets and coyotes can safely coexist in an urban environment.
